Here are a couple images of what they put in my ankle/foot. They had to rebuild the back portion of my foot/heel, so it turned out pretty good.
Surgery went well
Surgery went well, doctor said it was very good. Hurtin like a mo fo, but glad to move forward now.
Surgery next week
Just left the foot/ankle specialist, scheduled surgery for next week. They have to rebuild my heel with some plates and screws, suckiest thing is that it’s a 3 month no pressure on it. Mental note…don’t case triples!
Broken Ankle + Shattered Heel = Surgery
Just got back from the sports medicine doctor and got the bad news that I need to have my heel put back together and my ankle pushed back into place with some screws and some extra bone. Looks like its gonna be a bit before I can ride.
